For moms with babies 2 – 11 weeks old (at start of class).
~     Fridays, Apr. 6th - May 11th (9am - 9:45am) - $125
Bring your new baby to a clean, baby-friendly environment & meet other new moms. Each expert-led weekly meeting offers time for support, information and new developmental activities for the babies. The curriculum includes support around the topics of sleeping concerns & feeding patterns, tips for establishing daytime and nighttime routines and instruction on soothing and settling techniques. Participate in developmental play that even the youngest babies will benefit from and practice infant massage techniques to relieve gas, improve digestion and promote sleep. Learn basic baby sign language to use with your baby and get tummy time tips and suggestions for making tummy time more fun for baby. Reference handouts are included so that you can review the info learned in class as you care for your little one!

For tots 2 months to 1.5 years old (at start of class) and a loving parent or caregiver.

Baby Sign Language is the perfect class for your tot to learn how to communicate his or her needs! We will use songs, rhyming, bouncing, story time and toys to learn American Sign Language (ASL), the third most spoken language in the world! Baby sign language will accelerate language development for your tot and build vocabulary. Baby Sign Language is also proven to promote early literacy skills and ease frustration and anxiety for parents and children by providing young tots with a way to communicate their needs to their caregivers. Each week's gathering begins with a song that greets each tot using ASL. Our songs, rhymes, bounces and story time incorporate ASL and encourage interaction. All materials are provided and a CD of special songs used in class (and not easily found elsewhere) is included as well! Use the materials to reference forgotten signs at home. We will end each class with bubbles and a favorite storybook. 

For tots 1 – 3 years old (at start of class) and a loving parent or caregiver.

This is a classic child development group led almost entirely in Spanish! Weekly themes introduce new vocabulary through songs, stories, games and toys. Vocabulary handouts, A CD of Spanish songs and all song lyrics are included in the class price! Class begins with a circle time of songs, parachute play and movement games in Spanish. Appropriate for families with no Spanish knowledge as well as bilingual families or children with Spanish-speaking caregivers.


For tots 4 - 8 years old (at start of class) and a loving parent or caregiver.
~     Thursdays, Mar. 29th - May 3rd (2:30pm - 3:15pm) - $125

This is the ideal class for your tot to learn Spanish through songs, props, activities and play. The class is perfect for families with no Spanish knowledge and for bilingual families as well. Each week, we explore new Spanish vocabulary using songs, parachute play, bean bags, dancing scarves, musical instruments and more. Our bilingual approach to Spanish facilitates learning and encourages participation. We'll learn vocabulary for greetings, letters, numbers, colors, shapes, emotions, body parts, family members, animals, days of the week, telling time and more! Research shows that kids are able to quickly learn languages they are exposed to and that they are able to simultaneously learn up to four languages without experiencing any language delays or confusion. A CD of Spanish songs is included in the registration fee and materials are provided for reference at home, including outlines of all classes and lyrics to all of the songs used in class.


For expecting parents or parents of newborns.
~     Sunday, Apr. 15th (10am - 11:30am) - $50
This workshop includes practical information to get you off to a great start with nursing. Learn about initiating breastfeeding, establishing a strong milk supply, what to expect the first days of feeding, the benefits of skin-to-skin contact and how to recognize your baby's hunger cues.  Using dolls, practice various breastfeeding positions and understand how to achieve the proper latch. Common breastfeeding concerns will be covered (including how to tell if your baby is eating enough!) and local breastfeeding support resources will be shared. We will cover how to select a breast pump, how to express milk and how to properly store your milk. Guidance will be offered on nursing pillows, nursing bras, and other accessories helpful to nursing moms. Reference materials covering everything discussed in class are included in the class price. Registration covers expecting mother and a spouse, partner or other support person.

For tots 3 - 6 months old (at start of class) and a loving parent or caregiver.

Blossoming Babes is the perfect class for tots to experience learning through play while parents and caregivers engage in a supportive environment. We will use songs, rhyming, bouncing, toys, movement and sensory activities that are specifically designed for babies from 3 - 6 months old. Each week includes a brief learning topics for adults in attendance and a chance to share experiences in a supportive environment. Each class ends with bubbles and a favorite storybook. Materials are provided for reference at home.


For tots 7 - 12 months old (at start of class) and a loving parent or caregiver.

Social Butterflies is the perfect class for your child to experience learning through play. We will use songs, rhyming, bouncing, toys, movement and sensory activities that are specifically designed for babies from 7 to 12 months old.  Our classes incorporate basic infant sign language and encourage interaction from babies and adults. We will use water mats, balls, mirrors, blocks, ball pits, crawling tunnels and cause and effect toys to encourage gross and fine motor, cognitive and social development.  Each week includes a brief discussion on relevant topics for adults in attendance and helpful ideas to try at home.  Each class ends with bubbles and a favorite storybook. Materials are provided for reference at home.

For tots 12 - 24 months old (at start of class) and a loving parent or caregiver.

This is the perfect class for your toddler to learn through play. Each week, we'll get moving and grooving as we cover toddler-specific themes through music, movement and fun! Through music, we'll learn about sharing, making friends, being kind and more while covering traditional topics such as the alphabet, colors, numbers and shapes. We'll move and groove, do a parade around the room, and use props such as dancing scarves, maracas, musical instruments and egg shakers in activities that fine-tune gross motor and fine motor skills.


For tots ages 3 – 8 years who will soon become big brothers or sisters.

This class will help your child understand more about the arrival of their new sibling and how they can help. The class will cover a discussion about what to expect during mom's hospital stay and what to expect from their new sibling. The kids will role play using dolls and props, read some special "new baby" books and create an art project to welcome their new little brother or sister. At the end of the class, each child will be awarded a special "#1 Big Brother" or "#1 Big Sister" that he/she can proudly display while waiting for the new baby.


Newborn Care Workshop
For expecting parents or parents of newborns.

This fun class will boost your confidence by teaching essential newborn care concepts through hands-on practice. You'll be ready to welcome your new baby home by the time the class is over! Using doll models, learn the basics of baby care including bathing, diapering, umbilical cord and circumcision care and how to comfort a crying infant. Learn what to expect in terms of feedings and wet/dirty diapers, discuss common newborn health concerns and review how to take a temperature and when to call the pediatrician. We'll cover the new safer sleep guidelines, provide SIDS prevention tips, practice swaddling techniques and give you what every parent of a newborn wants -- sleep tips! We will also review car seat safety and installation and home and travel safety. Best of all, the class is offered in a comfortable, non-hospital setting and we provide all the materials for you to take home and reference as you're caring for your infant. Registration covers expecting mother and a spouse, partner or other support person.
