Social Butterflies is the perfect class for your child to experience learning through play. We will use songs, rhyming, bouncing, toys, movement and sensory activities that are specifically designed for babies from 7 to 12 months old (at start of the class) and their loving parent, grandparent or caregiver.

Social Butterflies is the perfect class for your child to experience learning through play. We will use songs, rhyming, bouncing, toys, movement and sensory activities that are specifically designed for babies from 7 to 12 months old (at start of the class) and their loving parent, grandparent or caregiver.
- Babies of this age are "social butterflies" - They love to observe and play with other babies!
- Babies will quickly become familiar with the routine of the class.
- Each week’s gathering begins with a song that greets each baby.
- Our songs, rhymes, bounces and story time incorporate American Sign Language (ASL) and encourage interaction from moms and babies.
- We will use some or all of these in class: water mats, balls, mirror toys, blocks, ball pits, crawling tunnels, spinning tops and cause-and-effect toys.
- Weekly activities highlight emerging gross motor, fine motor, cognitive and social development skills.
- Brief discussions for adults introduce relevant topics and share helpful ideas to try at home.
- We will end each class with bubbles and a favorite storybook.
